In a statement released a few minutes ago, Beef shared his thoughts on releasing Kyle from the organization.
The statement is truly heartbreaking and explains that the decision has been made because the “personality conflicts within the team were too severe to continue“. It is safe to say that the team was arguing because of their lack of improvement for the past few months with their biggest achievement being the win again EG in the EPICENTER XL North America qualifier.
Kyle was a part of the team ever since they started their venture in Dota 2 in 2014, picking him directly from HoN. With this in mind, Kyle was one of the few players that didn’t change teams for more than a few years, along with legends like Loda and Dendi.
Another good point was brought up by LD on twitter:
Feels weird as hell to imagine @coL_Zfreek and Kyle not playing on the same team…

For those of you who are not aware, Zfreek and Kyle are brothers and as you can imagine they have been playing together for a long time. Since Limmp and Chessie are also brothers, compLexity felt a lot like a “family” team but it seems that this didn’t prevent the internal fights and struggle.
It is interesting to see where Kyle will end up and who will replace him in the team as it seems that he was pretty much the pillar holding it from falling apart.
